CLOSET CONTROL
No space? No problem! This is a specialized service that caters to closets of all sizes, with the primary goal being to maximize the space to its fullest potential. I understand the importance of a well-organized closet, not just for functional purposes but also to enhance its visual appeal. I believe that every area in your home should look its best, and your closet is no exception. Therefore, Closet Control goes beyond simply improving the organization, it is intended to also give your closet a beautiful look. This service includes practical organizing, decluttering, and styling. Please note, each closet requires a minimum shopping budget for organizational supplies, such as storage bins, hangers, and shelving units. Service fee starts at $500 per closet but is determined based on the scope of work.
How it Works
1. The Initial Call
Every Closet Control project starts with a discovery call. Potential clients interested in this service should schedule a time to discuss their wants, needs, and challenges. This call provides an opportunity to ask any questions related to the service and serves as the first step to determine the scope of the project and whether this is the right service for you to proceed with.
2. The Consultation
Once you’ve decided to move forward with the service, we’ll schedule an onsite consultation. There is a $100 non-refundable consultation fee, which will be applied toward the total project cost. During the consultation, we’ll review all the specific details of the project. Seeing the closet in person allows me to provide an accurate price estimate. After the visit, I’ll send you a full price breakdown. Please note: Each closet project requires a minimum shopping fee in addition to the service fee.
Budget & Payment Structure
To ensure a seamless and successful decorating experience, there is a clear and transparent payment structure:
Service Fee: This is the fee for my design expertise, time, and personalized consultation throughout your project. The $100 non-refundable consultation fee goes towards the service fee. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the makeover date.
Shopping Fee: In addition to the service fee, there is a required shopping fee to start sourcing and purchasing the items needed to bring your closet together. I always strive to provide high-quality work and deliver a room you're proud of, which is why each project has a minimum shopping fee. Once the shopping fee is secured, the project will officially begin.
This structure ensures that we can create a quality and cohesive design that fits your goals and preferences.
3. The Process
Clutter and “junk” are no problem – they make the transformation even more rewarding! So, there’s no need to clean up before I arrive. However, to streamline the process, I recommend that you assess your closet before my visit to ensure that everything in the closet belongs there.
4. The Best Part
Makeover Day is the exciting part! The date for your Closet Control makeover will be scheduled during our initial meetings. The estimated time of completion will vary depending on the scope of the project but will be discussed in advance. For the best results and a smooth process, it’s preferred that you’re away from the closet area during the makeover to ensure efficient timing and an amazing reveal.
